This is an ad for a Ford Mustang that uses the Air Force as their marketing tool

  1. It took me a few minutes to figure the title to this post was not a link. Once I found the clip on YouTube and watched it, it left me underwhelmed. First off, knowing a little about military aviation, the control switches they show in the commercial are laughable for the order, type and proximity to each other. Obviously, the production company had control over that which seems odd for an Air Force commercial. Secondly, Ford has been on this kick lately for comparing their cars to jet fighters and starships. That strikes me as condescending to the viewer when I don't think anyone who has sat in their cars in any showroom (including myself) ever had thoughts of fighters and starships come to mind. The Mustang evokes muscle cars of yesteryear (which I think they got right) and Lincolns a cheap 'luxury' car. They should stick with those images. I think Ford is on the wrong track with this advertising.

  2. Seems like a nice technology, and the interior looks very complicated. I like the speed of it, but I probably would get that car, even if I have the money for it:)

  3. Interesting concept, but I like TMT was not blown away by it. . .
